Bruins game

The Bruins once again had their hands full with Montreal.  Although the B's struggled with connecting on passes and capitalizing on oppurtunities, it was one of the most exciting games of the year.  The B's tied up a 1-0 Canadians lead in the third to force OT and eventually lose in the 5th round of a shootout.

The rookie, Kevan Miller from the University of VT has been making a name for himself with fiery hits and bad ass scraps!

Original pioneers of Drift boats and the McKenzie River

I found this on the Caddis Fly blog and had to share it.  The Helfrich name is synonymous with drift boat innovation and the Mckenzie river... It was Herbert Hoover's favorite river to fish and where I spent the majority of my time during college learning the ways of rainbow trout, steelhead, and Salmon.

Some great video from Peter Laurelli!

Another Great fly fishing movie from the North East, Thanks to

This is the full 35 minute version of the 2011 season fly fishing the inshore waters of the Northeast. Scenes focus on Western Long Island Sound, Breezy Point & NJ, flats of CT and New York, Block Island and Montauk.
The premise is the same each year; drag camera gear around from March to December in search of striped bass, bluefish and false albacore, point it at the water and see what comes out.
If you are in the NYC area and have ANY interest in seeing this in a large screen format, please let me know and I will make it happen.
This year the project was shot with a Panasonic GH1 and GH2 and GoPro & VioSport1.5. The GH2 utilized firmware modification tools from Vitaliy Kiselev and settings by cbrandin and driftwood. Edited on Sony Vegas Pro 10.
